listening to the Keep

Today I was at Clitheroe Castle with composer Ailís Ní Ríain. She produced a piece of sound art which can be heard in the Keep. The work is inspired by the story of the Lancashire witches and features harp, bells and humming voices of local people. There are lots of parallels within the composition to the twelve individuals who were accused of witchcraft in 1612. Here's a group of visitors listening to the piece through the stone of the Keep.
