the simple life

a chilly start but cycled out to some pretty hilltop villages, Saint Arailles and Bazian. Through the heart of the Gers , quiet roads, rolling hills and farmland, perfect cycling country. Not much wildlife but flicks of birds gliding and darting with the odd bird of prey hovering to strike. Popped into a lovely auberge at Riguepeu , for a delicious 'Menu De Jour' 3 courses, wine, water, bread & coffee for under £10! The sun came out for the 20k cycle back with the wind behind me ....the simply perfect life
