Favourite lane

We walk down this lane almost every day. It lies between fields, and is very peaceful, with no traffic (apart from the occasional tractor), and the dog enjoys sniffing and trotting about. It is always changing. At the moment there are wild flowers growing under the hawthorns and the oaks - herb Robert, speedwell blue, buttercups, violets.
A lazy Sunday, as we were taken out to lunch by our neighbour, but the last of the sweet peas got planted out, and some blanket weed pulled out of the pond, much to the annoyance of several very small newts!
