Fungi

Yay, it's Friday! I used to love Friday's because I didn't have to go to work for the following two days. Now I love Fridays because the hubby doesn't have to go to work for the following two days. Although nowadays, I sometimes have to work weekends (although it doesn't really feel like work, especially compared to my old job). Just a local pre-wedding meeting with a bride tomorrow though, so only an hour or so. 

Today has been nice. I did some work this morning, then went to my friend Cathie's for lunch, along with another friend Lez and her two little ones. I love having the flexibility to do things like this nowadays. After a leisurely lunch, I came home and prepared for tomorrow's meeting, before helping hubby to make a mushroom risotto for tea, which was lovely. I've been thinking about buying a mushroom kit and growing some in our cellar. Anyway, I digress... 

I saw two herons today. One was flying and the other was stood on the embankment next to Bingley Bypass?! Weird.
