Ziggurats

A trip back in time today.  While Ruth was enjoying Hydrotherapy at the N&N (Norfolk & Norwich Hospital) I took a stroll down memory lane.  UEA (University of East Anglia) grounds are adjacent to the hospital site.  Made it down to the edge of the broad where I got a glimpse of the iconic Ziggurats of Norfolk and Suffolk Terrace.  I lived in one of these for a while ..... 35 years ago.  They're grade II listed buildings now.  


Wiki tels us: Ziggurats were massive structures built in the ancient Mesopotamian valley and western Iranian plateau, having the form of a terraced step pyramid of successively receding stories or levels.
