To Take up Pilates

I am seriously thinking of taking up Pilates.  Here is my instructor giving a demonstration of some of the equipment.

However I am a complete novice and  it is taking a little time to learn the essential techniques.  At the moment I am receiving individual tuition but I don't think it will be too long before I join a class.

Can't you just sense some of the comments that are now going to come down the line...
