It's for the birds ........

I like to put birdseed on the wall outside the kitchen window and watch to see which birds come down to feed.  Recently it has been mostly robins and chaffinches but today some sparrows had a turn, as here, and some starlings, too.  There are so many starlings in our garden these days, as well as jackdaws and turtle doves that the small birds have to queue to get a turn at the feeders.  The suet/seed & nut mix I have been making is very popular and of course Mr & Mrs Squirrel have been at it all, too.

What a cold day it was today, the damp seemed to get right through to the bones. Many people in Lampeter were complaining about it this morning.  This afternoon it rained the whole time so there was no dog walk.
