Lake Road Trip

What else do two photographiers do on a Friday Night ....... we jump in the car and drive to Tarawera and snap lake pictures.

Had an interesting discussison about the Buried Village on the way out to Tarawera and what it costs a local to get into the attraction.

Of course the whole area was devastated, when Mount Tarawera erupted in the 1880's.

Apparenty it is free for locals to get into on the weekend closest to the date of the eruption. Might be worth a visit.

But evening trips to the lake was a nice way to unwind on a Friday and put our feet in the lake. Can't believe how clean the lake is in comparison to Lake Rotorua.
