Our Apricots
Our apricots are ripe early this year. This is one of our most precious harvests as we don't get so many fruit, but they taste like nothing you buy in the shop. All the same, we pick more than we can eat, so will be chopping some up to go in the freezer or bottling in the next few days.
A trip to town today to buy wood for "Handy Ady's" home renovation project (see blip for Jan 18). This is mostly going well, although there was some swearing yesterday when there was a mishap when he was trying to position a very heavy piece of wood while standing on a ladder 3 metres off the ground.
I am taking it very quietly as my nausea has continued and even worsened this week. I saw the GP a couple of days ago and we think this might be due to me reducing the steriod tablet I was on. I have reinstated this, and am maybe feeling slightly better, but still not right. Fingers crossed I feel better tomorrow.
