A ruin at South Cuidrach

Driving north through the Isle of Skye towards Uig I looked once again at what I assumed was a Hill Fort. I decided to park up and go over ands explore.

I was right, I climbed up onto the knoll where once there hasd been a Fort. Not much of it left now but the views were interesting. Particularly on the far side of the fort wasa this ruined house that must once have been quite substantial.

I took the photograph looking down upon the ruin with one of MacLeod's Tables visible in the distance beyond Waternish. The sea loch is Loch Snizort.
