300 not out

This is Bernard
I've known Bernard and his lovely wife Evelyn for a number of years now through our mutual love of running.
Bernard calls me "Esso" because my initials are BP!
He has taken many photos of me over the years so today was an opportunity to return the favour on what was a rather special occasion.
Today Bernard completed his 300th 10Km road race.
Unfortunately the organisers forgot to mention it at the start but I managed to grab this shot of him coming into the finish, then had just enough time to run ahead of him and announce his arrival to the crowd at the finish.
Congratulations Bernard. You are an inspration to us all. Here's to many more races.
