Patterns in Nature

This weeks theme of our wee competition is entitled "Patterns in Nature", which certainly appealed to me and gave me the opportunity to get out and see what I could find.

It is amazing when you take your time and look closely at objects - be it man made or God made - the detail that is afforded to many objects.

This is especially true when we take our time to look at the many things that surround us in nature. 

The patterns/texture/design is amazing - all with a specific task to perform.....and i just loved the veins shown on this leaf that I have captured. Veins that are there to support the leaf and to transport water and carbohydrate!!

Just amazing!!
