Gnarled Tree

Out on our usual walk along a narrow lane towards the town this morning, my hubby passed comment about how old this tree looked so I decided to take a photo of it.
It looks quite eerie in monochrome and the sun was shining so there's a bit of natural light along the lane too...
Back home after a pleasant lunch with family to a nice cosy house, feet up, time to mess about with my photos....
