A Rare Breed.

Sunshine was spotted this morning. It didn't last long!
I don't see the ponies during the week even though they are at the bottom of the garden!
I go out to work when it's dark and come home when it's dark. Roll on Spring!
It was lovely to see Maisie, George and Storm this morning. Storm - or little George, as my husband calls him - is starting to get a little bit 'teenage'.
Mum and Dad sort him out but we will have to think about a 'little operation' soon.
He is gorgeous and such a character. 

The Rare Breeds Survival Trust have just published their latest Watchlist and we (Dales Ponies) have dropped into the 'Critical' category as we now have less than 300 breeding females.
Only 90 foals were registered last year too.
Worrying times but we do our bit.
