Learning to make pasta by hand

Carmelo Carnabuci showed us today how to make pasta by hand without any machine. Point in making pasta all by hand says Carmelo is that it keeps sauce better and more and that is why it is more tasty.

Carmelo is from Sicily but has lived in Finland for 30 years teaching italian language and cooking.

We made two pasta, gnocchi di patate and tagliatelle and three sauces, salsa rosa ai peperone and Bolognese for tagliatelle and pesto alla Genovese for gnocchi.

And of course pizza mozzarella to start with and tiramisu alle fragole to end with.
