Walton

The cold that had been brewing yesterday came out in force today. I'm so glad we cancelled synchro this week, and really appreciated a bit of a lay-in and having a few hours to finish my book and lounge around. After lunch, we met Claire Mac and head to Walton for a lovely afternoon having an impromptu game of bowling, walking along the pier and strolling along the beach in the winter sunshine. It was such a beautiful day, and really good to get some fresh air in my coughy-lungs.

G and I were meant to go and see Mark Watson at the local Arts Centre this evening but decided to resell the tickets in favour of a night in with PJs, lemsip and dvds.
