Sun Worshiper.

After the freezing weather yesterday, when the poor swans were covered in ice crystals, it was so lovely to see this cob seeming to stretch up towards the sun.
He had been preening for a good 20 minutes, during which time I was flat on the floor, really close to him as I was using my 20mm lens, waiting for this moment......it was so worth the uncomfortable wait!
