Clifton visit in the cold and sunshine this morning for birthday shopping. Library for Robin and Bern and very long sleep this afternoon catching up on distinct lack of sleep during the week. We're being inventive with our cooking this week using up what we have in the cupboards as it's been so long since the last payday. Cue plenty of lentils and chickpeas which are delicious, but tonight we're cracking open the huge tin of duck confit we bought back from France 2 years ago which has been lurking unappetisingly ever since. Hummmmm. Mixed feelings about supper tonight!
