Elliot Sunset

Peter and I took the dogs for their run in the late afternoon.  Although the tide was pretty far in, the car park was full and we had to wait for a couple of minutes to get a space where we weren't in danger of blocking the entranceway. Oddly there weren't many dogs (or people) on the beach. I guess most people park here and either walk the cycle path or dunes. I much prefer the beach to walk along and only walk the dunes when the tide is too far in to walk on the sand. the dogs much prefer the beach too!

This week seems to have been noticably lighter later on. This blip was taken at 4.30pm. This time last month the sunset seemed to be at it's best around 3.30pm and it was pitch black by 4.30. I've noticed the lighter mornings too. E  was being dropped off just after 7.30 in in daylight
