Kids Table for a Poon

We had a Mun Yuk Celebration for my sister's new baby girl today. She's a month old and the Chinese celebrate this milestone. It's traditionally the first time that family and friends will see the new baby. A month of solitude for mother and baby gives the new mum a chance to recover and the baby to get strong.

Mun Yuk literally means a Moon Month.

The traditional feast is a Poon. This is a blip of the second Poon for the Kids Table. There are a lot of grandchildren in our world these days.
