Flat battery

This is definitely NOT how I had planned to blip my way thro' this holiday, but we have had a challenging day and it's not only the camera that is flat.

Other people's holiday disaster stories are so boring, so I'm not going to moan at all, but simply say that when faced with challenge, there is nobody I would rather be with than the Prof who can find something to amuse in any situation.

We find ourselves rather oddly in a bar in Cadiz city. Not where we'd planned to be at all. In one corner there are some leprechauns with pink beards, huge beer steins and baggy pants singing 'what will we do with a drunken sailor' in Spanish, flamenco style.

Some lovely things today, tho. Beautiful lush green countryside, masses of wild flowers, storks nesting, the mountains of N. Africa, crazy hill top villages. Off to sleep now with the soothing sound of the Atlantic surf.
