Perched

The annual tradition of the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch saw a complete absence of finches, but otherwise about par, with the following maximum numbers at any one time during an hour of observation.

House Sparrow - 17
Collared Dove - 7
Starling - 7
Carrion Crow - 3
Blue Tit - 2
Blackbird - 2
Dunnock - 2
Magpie - 2
Wood Pigeon - 1
Robin - 1
Great Tit - 1
Jackdaw - 1
Black-headed Gull - 1

Of which the latter is observed perched on our telegraph pole, watching all of the other birds below. Just like it was last year.
