I wandered lonely...

...as a cloud, but not lonely on this occasion. A fascinating, illuminating, enthusiastic and charming lecture by the delightfully wacky Gavin Pretor-Pinney, on the wonders of clouds and their appreciation. Cindy and I enjoyed a superb picnic in Holland Park prior to the talk and a second picnic afterwards to complete a wonderful day.

Gavin P-P is author of The Cloudspotter's Guide and founder of the terrifically eccentric Cloud Appreciation Society. His flawless chat revealed a fascination for clouds and a cheeky observation of clouds that look like things.
