The NZ fantail is a wonderful bird.  I've previously blipped them most recently this young one at Arthur's Pass.

This metal one was a gift from Dave for Xmas.  The "spike" goes into a tree.  This photo doesn't show that but I was taken by the rainbow I've captured so wanted to use this photo!

The fantail is from Metalbird.

Abby's last Sunday in Christchurch as she and Alex head north on Tuesday morning and after a short trip around they will be heading to Melbourne to live and work for a while before heading further afield!  Exciting adventures ahead.
