Tree Fella

Today was to be cold, but sunny and bright, so it seemed the perfect day to fell a tree. It is a sapling that has got out of hand and in need of drastic pruning. Happily for me, this involved the use of a chainsaw, but the canopy had to be cleared first and with hand saws this high up a ladder.

So this is me, preparing to remove the next limb (from the tree) in my colleague's garden. He was not so keen on this lofty position himself. I was happy to oblige and relieve him of copious quantities of firewood afterwards.
