Lancaster Canal Hest Bank

Carrie and I took a walk down the Lancaster Canal yesterday. We would have blipped yesterday but having problems with the site. We met another photographer who told us he was looking for a Kingfisher. As he was talking I spotted the said bird looking at him from a bush on the opposite side of the canal. By the time he had turned, got his camera out, changed lenses the Kingfisher shot off down the canal. The last we saw off this guy was heading off in the direction of the kingfisher, don't know if he managed to shoot him. After that we kept spotting the bird numerous times as it flew up and down the canal, what a treat. Just wish I'd got a telephoto lense. Never mid one day
