The early bird...

..catches the worm and this old bird (even older on Tuesday) got to have an early birthday dinner with friends. Which is very, very nice.

It's fab (and slightly surprising) that we now have a lovely Italian restaurant in Stepney Green. Never thought I'd see the day.

We watched Into the Woods today and enjoyed it. The girls LOVED it. The actors included lots of Brits, which was nice to see and they all had surprisingly good singing voices. Very funny scenes with two princes who were perfect parodies of the classic fairytale prince, though of course he does exist - I've got mine at home ;-))))))
