Processions

There have been a stream of processions today. Some from the temple and this one from the church. There is a strong Christian community in Kerala ... I love the chaos of this .. it is so India .. there is no formal marching with the drumming - it is as life and all the chat goes on as they drum .. behind them are many of the local women including the family that I am very close to and Sona my Malayalam teacher and friend. 

On a very sad note my dear old cat Ronnie died on Thursday ... my friend has buried him in our garden at home.
