Balls!

"Kids, who threw all the balls onto the swimming pool cover?"

This cover was sold to us as being 'strong enough for an elephant to walk on it'. Mr B had a little tentative half-step onto it the other day and decided not to try it out for real. So the kids know they're not allowed to stand on it (just in case) but have had great fun today in throwing all and sundry on to it instead.

Another fine day ... until the raining started at 7ish and, the way it's going, it may never stop. Still, that didn't stop us having dinner outside, sheltering under the parasol scoffing our shepherds' pie. Mr B has only just retired to the sheltered spot under the garage where his keyboard lives while we're down here. I, meanwhile, am off to do as ordered by Mr Smith yesterday and print out the lovely shot of my lads yesterday.
