Ben Cleuch

A wee jaunt up the Ochils, on a hill I've never climbed. 

After an early start, I left the car in sleepy Tillicoultry and forged onto the hill following a good track steeply to the summit. The cloud base was at around 300m, so I had zero views and was buffeted by 35mph winds and horizontal rain at the cairn. The ice & snow underfoot made for tricky walking. 

I descended over Ben Ever and down to the Silver Wood and then back to the car after 2hrs 15min. Ankles bearing up nicely.

Home in time for lunch.
