The Day The Flame Came...

... to Torquay.

It was heaving with people in St Marychurch, Torquay, today. What a lovely atmosphere it was too. The BBC had been showing the progress of the Olympic torch online so I waited until it was just down the road, strolled for a few minutes and hung around waiting. I timed it just right, less than five minutes later they arrived. I stood right at the end of the Torquay part of the journey and watched it get put back in it's lantern-doodad for the next leg in Shaldon. I hadn't realised that Muse were in one of the vehicles as they passed otherwise I may have hurled myself through one of the open windows and declared undying love or somesuch mutterings. Oh well.
