We walked down through the trees to a small waterfall further down the hill. It is usually dry at this time of year but torrential rains over new year (10 inches in 15 hours) had kept the river running. On our way back we passed through the small village and were greeted by many children wishing to have their photos taken. They arrange themselves into photogenic little groups and are so delighted to be able to look at themselves on the screen. This little boy is being looked after by his aunt as his mother is working in Bangalore. He  clung to her tightly but smiled shyly for this photo
