Lunchtime!

As it's RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch Day, it seemed appropriate to capture a blip of a bird. Of course the really pretty ones decided to take a day off from visiting!! (Well, my Editor did call me when a woodpecker settled on the nut feeder but it was gone in a flash and didn't return!).

However this cute lady blackbird did pop by for some lunch and stood still for about half a second when I happened to have my camera to my eye. So she wins my blipspace for today. (I never knew that lady blackbirds had a moustache and beard until I looked closely at this photo!!)

I'll keep trying to get the woodpecker and/or the goldcrest on another day :)
