Orchid

I've just been given this beautiful orchid so I just had to blip it. - I love the many different varieties and I think (and I'm hoping) that they more or less look after themselves.

We've been to the 3 Acres this lunch time with good friends Shirley & Brian, and caught up on all the news and goings on.  We met them for the first time in Thailand  -  about 15 years ago and although we don't usually make  friends on holiday we all hit it off straight away.  Imagine our surprise when we realised we only lived about 3 miles apart, and had many mutual acquaintances. Anyway our friendship has survived and I venture to say it's still "going strong."
