Life aboard

a narrow boat. Interesting afternoon, got chatting to the owner of this 26 tonne boat which is his permanent home. He was on the towpath sawing logs for his wood burning stoves which provide heating. The bedroom is at the front, then a living area then a bathroom and kitchen. Right at the back is the engine and steering area for when he decides to move off and navigate other waterways around the country.
