MARINADE

In the morning this  mixture of sultanas, raisins, dried cranberries & candied orange peel, lots of dark brown sugar + 1/2 a pint of strong tea laced with ginger & allspice will get introduced to a whisked egg + 10 ozs of wholemeal flour & the appropriate dose of baking powder - then an hour & a half in the oven at 150° C.

The result should be a stunning Bara Brith...
