Ss Matthew and Paul

No time to go out today. But fitting for the Feast of the Conversion of St Paul is a detail from our east window. Paul is on the right with the swords - thes ymbol of his martyrdom. The full window depicts the Te Deum so the scroll has some words from the phrase : 'The glorious company of the Apostles  praise thee'. The window is by Heaton, Butler and Bayne (who have windows also in Westminster Abbey and Peterborough Cathedral)
