Banana Planting

Last year our banana crop contacted a virus which has struck much of sub-saharan Africa.
We dug out and burned much of the crop, but eventually  on the advice of the local Research Station, we cut down and burned the whole 600 plants.
With of the help of the scientists, we learned to propagate new plants and we are now planting them out.
Alepher decided to call in all the troops, except those who have Church on Saturdays, to get the job done.
This is Steve from the factory and pump team, doing his job with a big smile. Steve always has a smile on his face. He loves his work, is an excellent worker and is passionate about what he does and a future of bringing clean water to all.
We will add new varieties and plantain as well.
There is no sharp distinction between "bananas" and "plantains" except in the Americas and Europe. In these areas, "banana" usually refers to soft, sweet, dessert bananas, with their firmer, starchier fruit that are called "plantains". Bananas are eaten raw while plantain are fried or boiled as a food.
