Chocs Away!

Another marvelous find. This is looking down the runway of Wisley Airfield. It was abandoned in the 1970's having been used by Vickers for testing various aircraft going right back to the Second World War.

The worry is that this is going to get dug up for housing. Further encroachment into the green belt and the loss of another piece of local history.
