Castle in the snow

I am tentatively back in Blipfoto. My last entry was in November 2009. A lot has changed since then. The biggest change being my move to Cape Breton from downtown Toronto. Interestingly, my last entry was a picture of Cape Breton. That seems to say a lot!
It poured rain here last night and when I walked around my little property, I found this beautiful old tree trunk and it looked like some kind of wonderful castle. I could have photographed my garbage can which was blown in the storm last night down into my brook, but the choice seemed clear.
