Melanotaenia trifasciata - Banded rainbow fish

This is a pair of the new rainbow fish I got a couple of weeks ago. These 2 are definitely male… I got 4 and am pretty sure at least one of them is female.  These are only babies and will be come a lot more impressive when they get older.   I'm loving them already.  Unlike the Boesemans that originate in Papup New Guinea, these are from freshwater streams in Australia and were first discovered in 1922.  They like hard water so should do well here.
