Australia Day at the beach

Today is Australia Day so we headed down to our local beach with the rest of the people on the Northern Beaches to join in the celebrations.

Things to do and see included thong throwing (known as flip flops in other countries) , camel rides, kiddies rides, the local pipe band belting out tunes on their bagpipes, nippers display on the sand with plenty of bacon and egg rolls, pancakes and lamingtons to eat.
