Kitty hospital .......

Again!

Our normal Sunday routine was disrupted this morning by a sick Zazu.

It is his habit to come lay on the bed with me first thing in the morning until I get up.  Shortly after he came up on the bed he made a very strange cry out and jumped to the floor.  I followed him to see what was wrong.  There was nothing visible but he continued to cry out every so often. 

We continued with our abbreviated Sunday routine of eggs and bacon for breakfast followed by quick showers.  All the while keeping an eye on Zazu.  He was doing okay but you could tell something was definitely wrong. 

After our showers we called our normal veterinarian to see if they could see him on a Sunday.  If not we would have had to take him to an emergency vet that would probably charge us 3 times more!  Luckily, our vet was able to see him right away and that's where he is tonight.

If you recall, Zazu had issues last July.  Well, he has the same troubles now........ an obstructed bladder and stones!  My picture is poor sick Zazu in his "cell" at the vet.  He has to stay there for a couple of days whilst they flush out his bladder and try to dissolve the stones.
