Last day at home

With today being my last day before returning to work, I was determined to spend some quality time with the wee ones.

The boy and I spent the morning at a fairly quiet Legoland, exploring all his favourite rides.  And the late afternoon was spent walking with the wee girl. Granted, she was asleep the entire time but it felt good for the two of us to be out and about together.

Because Nikki's mum is here for the next couple of weeks I'll be returning to work a little earlier than normal. Instead, I'll use up the remainder of my paternity leave once she returns to Australia. That way she'll have more help for longer.

Thankfully the wee man and I have just about shaken off our colds.  However, the baby's nose has started to clog up.  Let's hope it doesn't last long!
