Marion, SC

I had to drive to this place on Sunday evening for a short meeting.  It is the First Methodist Church in Marion, SC.  It was build in 1912.  Sadly, only 134 people attended worship there last Sunday.  There was a Methodist congregation meeting regularly in Marion as early as 1786.   It reminded me of a municipal building more than a church with the exception of the detailed stained glass window.  It's about a 2 hour and 10 minute round trip drive from our house and the meeting lasted 20 minutes.  I wish the other 3 stained glass windows on the front had been lighted.
