Deep Thought

My lovely friend Mel stopped over for the night en route from North Wales to Cumbria and it was great to spend some time with her. We managed a walk along the prom, tea and cake, a good old catch-up about our lives, a debate about the parlous state of the world and a delicious Indian takeaway. Here, Mel ponders a recalcitrant crossword clue... I think she cracked it in the end!
