Football awards

Me and Zoe had a massive lie in this morning. It was wonderful lots of hugs and reading together. It was nice to have time to chat about what's making her happy & sad at the moment.

This afternoon James had his football awards presentation. It's normally hosted by Ray Stubbs but he was unwell with heart problems. I hope it's nothing too serious. James was so chuffed to get his award. I loved seeing his little face, such a proud moment when they get something they deserve. But I would say that, I'm his mum.

We had a small gathering at ours after, mainly so the lads could watch the match together. We all had far too much to drink. I enjoyed having them at mine. I cooked chicken and ribs! Fab day x
