How to get across a cattle grid

This is my favourite walk at the moment, a three mile circuit which takes just over an hour. This is the third time we've done it this month. As it will be the last sunny day for awhile we did it just before lunch.
There are two cattle grids on this route and Hector can manage both without me having to pick him up. Stiles and cattle grids in winter are no fun when you have to pick up a wet and muddy Border!
