Close-up to an Apple

Today's mono challenge is 'Close-up', so I decided to challenge myself even more and do some in-focus water drops. Shutter speed was far less important than depth of field and lighting, so I used a very small aperture and adjusted the flash accordingly. I reflected the light off a bottle bag which refracted different colours to get background bokeh - it actually looks good too in colour.

The business of preparing for the LRPS panel is taking a great deal of time so apologies for lack of responses.  I will make a big effort to catch up and look at all your images over the next few days.
