Light and shade

A great start to the day with our taxi driver using the Promende Anglais all the way from the Negresco to the airport. Not long after sunrise and the light was splendid. Should have taken a picture :-).
Landing in Liverpool just before 12 wasn't quite so picturesque.
So here's an abstract from home.
A great break, despite aching limb and the virus. An uncomfortable landing with a stuffed head and temporary hearing loss. Feeling fine now but you nearly got a still life of all the remedies and medication.
Also thanks to everyone for such lovely comments over the last few days. You are very kind. I should be back in commenting on your blips now we're back.
